Topping-out is a time to give thanks
The topping-out ceremony is always one of the most anticipated moments in construction – it’s a time to take a moment, thank the hard-working craftsmen, and celebrate reaching the building’s full height. The Raatuse Residentsid Phase 1 topping-out ceremony was exactly such an event: the traditional wreath on the roof, speeches and words of thanks to the team, and of course, a celebratory lunch.
I went to the Raatuse site to capture this spirited event. The photos include both formal moments and spontaneous smiles – exactly the details that make documenting a construction project special.
